yOz. -blows dust off- This thing has been left untouched for 3 months. Ahakx. Well, what's been happening to the TK netball team? Nothing much I guess. We just had our PESS carnival. Sent in 2 teams. Hawks and Falcons. Hawks suay because they had AHS. And Falcons were unlucky too to have IJ in thier first round groupings. Anyways, both teams fought pretty hard. Falcons got into second round. Games in the second round were more... tough. Haha. First we met AHS. From watching them play with Hawks, could see AHS deproved quite a bit. We had a pretty good chance at beating them. And we did. One school down 2 more to go. Next was CTSS. Haha. Well, for some of us, there's this heat between TK and CTSS. Ever since we lost to them last year during PESS. Game was neck to neck. People fought hard. But eventually the better out of the best won. Which was... US!. It was a really "heart attack" game. Can sense everyone really wanted to win. Including CTSS. But I think Falcons, really fought all the way. It was lucky for us when thier GK was wasting time by not listening to umpire. And we managed to convert some of thier centre passes into our shots. =) So 2 schools down, one more to go. Last school was NYGH. We were supposedly up against the better NY team. But that didnt stop us. We continued playing hard and we got through. Unfortunately, we had to meet AMK in the quarter finals?. Ok, got to agree we threw a lot of balls away. Not capable of calming ourselves down. And what was the cost? We lost to them by
ONE. [can hear the heartbreaks?] Harsh harsh. Anyways thanx to some of the Sec2s for actually being there to support the Falcons all the way. Way to go! Hah.
Since it was our [for sec3s] last PESS, it sure was memorable. Firstly, our 'secret' wish to play as 'our team' came true. [Remember C div 02?]. That boosted our morale. Everyone was pretty psyched up. Next was the game play. It was good to play as a team again. Everyone communicated well and played well. By the time we reached round 2, could see that we got better. And of course who can forget. Thanx to Sonia!! She dedicated that Nike AD song for us to dance. Where? ON THE PITCH!!! Man. That was sooooo fun. But of course embarassing. The last last time we ever got attention in the pitch was when Grace let us played with the sprinklers. And that time only TK and this Aust team played. But this year..whoa. Sonia encouraged people to watch us. Lolx. WE danced, laughed, made a fool out of ourselves. This shows that TK, can not only play WELL but we are also great dancers. -snorts- LOLX. Oh well, I'm sure thats gonna last in our memories. What other stuff happened? Oh yeah. Our ball dropped into the swimming pool. Lolx. I actually thought that the ball would sink. -smacks forehead- thank god we got the ball back. But that sure was a lil funny. It was kind of great, to have supporters too. lolx. Think this year's PESS we gained some sort of reputation? Not a bad one tho [i hope not!] but I think people there think that TK netballers are fun, wild and good. Hurhur. Aiyah, not wrong to exaggerate right. But I think Falcons would agree that its kind of surprising that most of them [can i say most?] were rooting for TK.
Although we started PESS with full of fun, we ended it with full of regret. I guess. ONE shot. How irritating! But I hope this will motivate us to TRAIN HARDER and overcome AMKSS in nationals next year?? Lets prove to the others, TK can do it. We'll be BACK remember?? But firstly, got to study study study!! Jia you LINGXIU!! heheh. And THEN we train hard. Fitness and conditioning coming I guess... Anyways, take care all.
